Vale Barrie Wrigglesworth

On behalf of Gippsland Cricket, I extend our sincere sympathy to the family of Barrie Wrigglesworth.

Barrie was a true pioneer of Gippsland cricket. Gippsland owes a debt of gratitude for what he did to ensure the success and structure of Gippsland cricket as we know it today. He was bold in his ideas, strength of character in his implementation and leadership and a fierce competitor either as a player, coach, or administrator of cricket in Gippsland and across country Victoria. May we all retain that willingness to protect and grow our wonderful game.
