Notice of AGM- Tuesday 4th August, 2026

Please be advised that The Gippsland Region 7 AGM will be held:

·       Tuesday 4th August 2026, 

·       Commencing at 7:15pm. Bowlers Room Traralgon RSL

Accordingly, in accordance with The Rules as set out in The Constitution, Nominations are called for the following elected Executive positions:

·       President

·       Secretary

·       Treasurer

Historically, the role of the Vice President is undertaken by the nominated board member from the Association that traditionally hosted the JCW.

As SMCA would have had this responsibility for season 2026/27, that role will be filled by a person nominated by the SMCA.

The forthcoming AGM for Gippsland Cricket – Region 7 is open to all registered cricketers,  club & association administrators or interested person connected with a Member Association within Region7.

All attendees may participate in discussion where appropriate as directed by the presiding chairperson.

However, when it comes to voting rights at the AGM, voting is restricted to the nominated board member from each Association.

Proxy Board Member Nominee

Member Associations are entitled to nominate a proxy board member who is afforded the same voting rights as the nominated Board Member when acting in a proxy capacity.

Accordingly, each Association is requested to nominate its Board Member and Proxy Board Member by Wednesday 29th of July, via the following email: sec.gippscricket@gmail.com

Ordinary Board Members

Each Association is requested to nominate its Board Member for the forthcoming season

All nominations for the elected and nominated Board positions are requested by Wednesday 29th of July, via the following email: sec.gippscricket@gmail.com

The deadline for agenda items for the forthcoming AGM is Wednesday 29th July  via the following email: sec.gippscricket@gmail.com

Thereafter, a detailed Agenda will be presented no later than Thursday 30th July.

Finally, your assistance in bringing this notice to the attention of relevant and interested people within each Association will be appreciated.
